Still kicking my butt

Today's run was only 5 miles with 6 minutes of hill workouts but it still kicked my butt. I guess it's not really training if you aren't working hard. I think it's mostly the additive toll on my system, which is why in the weeks before the marathon the training is really scaled back considerably. I should be in good shape and fresh by then.
